I found Steve through Abbey Carpets in Seaford. He does all of their carpet and flooring installations, as well as being the owner of his own business. Several months ago, he replaced a portion of my bedroom carpet that had some burns. He charged me a nominal fee and did a beautiful job.

On December 1, 2010, I had a bathroom pipe leak which caused A LOT of water damage. I remembered that Steve did contracting work and called him for an estimate to submit to my homeowners insurance company.

Steve emailed me the quote that night and I emailed it to my adjuster. Within 3 days, I had the check in my hand and he started the job the next day. My adjuster said that his quote was very reasonable and they paid it at 100%. (what insurance company ever says that??)

Steve is an exceptional craftsman and a bit of a perfectionist, which is awesome...his attention to detail is amazing. If he sees the slightest flaw, it is fixed immediately. For my project, I needed new carpeting in my living room, master bedroom and hallway as well as a totally "new and improved" remodeled bathroom. He had to replace and paint the walls, paint the ceiling, sub-flooring, vinyl flooring, vanity, molding, lighting and all the fixtures such as towel racks, shower curtain hardware, etc. He even painted my existing 80's style mirror and hung it sideways and it looks like a brand new, modern mirror.

I could never tell him enough how much I love my "new house" and appreciate the time and effort he put into it. I am a disabled widow, and there are a lot of ‘fly-by-night’ carpenters out there who would take advantage of my situation. They don’t care about anything but getting paid, and then they do a sub-standard job. That is not the case with Steve. He is skilled in his craft, he is an honest, hard working, family man, and a true professional in his field. I guarantee you will recommend Steve to all your family and friends.

Well, it's me again.  Just 10 months after Steve completed my beautiful new bathroom, a water pipe burst under my house...under that very same bathroom!  Of course I called Steve and he came out, gave me an estimate, submitted it to the insurance company and they paid it. 

I was lucky enough to be able to get the same flooring again, because I really loved it.  I had a tub and surround in there before, but this time, I decided to do away with the tub and put in a new shower stall.  Best decision I've ever made. (see pics below)

Steve and Mike did an amazing job once again and I could not be any happier. It's white with a hint of gray throughout the tiles and it's just beautiful. The faucet, grab bar and adjustable showerhead is perfect for me.  Steve picked all of it out himself and did a great job.  He's got great taste and knows what will look good.

I happened to have a property appraiser here during this and she said that installing the shower added $8,000.00 to the value of my home.  YAY!

My master bathroom is next when my budget allows and you know who I'm calling...
